Ingredients

Seafood

  • 200 g cooked shrimp
  • 200 g cooked calamari (rings or chopped)
  • 150 g cooked mussels or clams (optional)

Vegetables & Add ins

  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 avocado, diced (optional)
  • 2 tbsp capers (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Dressing

  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt & black pepper
  • A pinch of chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the seafood

  • If using fresh seafood, cook the shrimp until pink and boil calamari for 2–3 minutes.
  • Drain and let everything cool completely.

Mix the salad

  • In a bowl, combine shrimp, calamari, mussels/clams, onion, cucumber, tomatoes, and parsley.
  • Add avocado last to keep it intact.

Make the dressing

  • Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, garlic, salt, pepper, and chili flakes.

Combine

  • Pour the dressing over the seafood mixture and toss gently.

Chill & serve

  • Refrigerate for 20 minutes for best flavor, or serve immediately.

    Small Notes :

      • Make sure the seafood is fully cooled before mixing to keep the vegetables crisp.
      • Avoid overcooking calamari 2–3 minutes is enough to keep it tender.
      • Add the avocado at the end to prevent it from mashing.
      • Chill the salad for 20 minutes to enhance the flavors.
      • Adjust the lemon juice and vinegar to taste for extra brightness.
      • This salad is best enjoyed fresh and is not ideal for long storage.
