Chicken Fingers recipe

 Chicken Fingers recipe

Chicken Fingers are crispy, golden strips of tender chicken breast that are breaded and fried (or baked) to perfection. They’re crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and loved by both kids and adults alike.

These delicious finger foods are perfect as a snack, appetizer, or main dish especially when served with dipping sauces like honey mustard, barbecue, or ranch.

Ingredients

  • 500 g (about 1 lb) chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika (optional, for color and flavor)
  • Oil for frying (about 1–2 cups, depending on pan size)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Season the chicken strips with salt, pepper, and paprika. Let them sit for 15 minutes.
  2. Set up the dredging station: Place flour in one bowl, beaten eggs in a second bowl, and breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  3. Coat the chicken: Dip each chicken strip in flour → then egg → then breadcrumbs, making sure each piece is fully coated.
  4. Fry the chicken: Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the coated chicken strips for 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Drain excess oil: Place the cooked chicken fingers on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  6. Serve: Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces like honey mustard, barbecue, or ketchup.
